Tel Aviv Games are Back!
Tel Aviv, declared one of the best gay travel destinations in the world, is joining a list of renowned capitals such as Paris, New York, Berlin and Rome, organizing its own LGBT multinational sports event – Tel Aviv Games – TAG2019. TAG 2019 offering the LGBT+ traveler a unique and exciting sports experience.
With over 250 athletes from all over the world already signed up, and an estimated 500 more expected, Tel Aviv Games 2019 is anticipated to become the biggest LGBT+ Sports event in the middle east and one of the biggest in Europe.
LGBT+ athletes from more than 17 countries (including France, Germany, UK, US, Australia, Canada, Belgium, Czech Rep., Greece, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Russia, Surnami and more) will come together for a 3-day multi-national celebration of participation, inclusion and personal best.
The tournament will include individual and team events in 7 sporting categories: Swimming, Tennis, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Same Sex Dance, and 5K and 10K Competitive Running.
This year Tel Aviv Games will also introduce the city’s first ever “Pride Run - Running for the youth”, supporting Healthy LGBT+ Youth lifestyle in a 5K race along Tel Aviv’s beautiful shore.
Tel Aviv, a city that has been declared the world's best gay travel destination in the past and remains a popular gay destination, offers the LGBT+ traveler a unique and wide experience, more so then ever in 2019, as in addition to its world-renowned annual Tel Aviv Pride festival, the city will be hosting the epic Eurovision song contest.
